Computer Use Policies

The Dothan Houston County Library System has established a set of use policies dictating allowed use of DHCLS computers and internet connections. Any patron who uses a DHCLS-owned computer or internet connection is subject to applicable policy. By signing your library card application, you agree to follow all applicable library computer policy. If you have any questions, please contact the Circulation Desk or the Technical Services Coordinator.
 

Public Computer Policy

This policy applies to all DHCLS-owned computers and internet connections, including those using DHCLS’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) network.
 

Special Computer Policy

This policy applies to the two special-use computers at the Main Branch; the Genealogy/Local History Research computer, and the microfilm reader.
