The Ashford Branch in Ashford, AL offers patrons the same basic materials and services offered at the Main Library and Westgate Branch, in a smaller size. Requested materials are placed in transit every Tuesday and Friday from the Dothan facilities. On Saturdays, the Ashford Branch provides a children’s story time program that is free and open to the public.
The facility offers a convenient location to the citizens of Ashford and surrounding communities, and is located close to the Ashford High School. The interior was given a design refresh in 2018 with new paint and furniture, and new services were added on top of the basic library provisions offered previously. The branch contains some local history materials for the city of Ashford in its reference section. Visitors with a library card are able to checkout materials from the library, use computers in the designated computer areas, and checkout laptops for in-library use.
