DHCLS accepts both monetary and materials donations.

Monetary Donations

If you wish to make a monetary donation to the DHCLS, please visit our online donation form.

Materials Donations

DHCLS gladly accepts donations of materials, subject to our Donation Policy.  Prospective donors may contact the Friends of the Library at friends@dhcls.org or (334) 796-1594 with any donation questions.

  • Donations may be dropped off at any branch (Main, Westgate, or Ashford) during regular business hours.
  • Donations may be dropped off at the Friends of the Library Bookstore at 1314 Westgate Parkway, Suite 2, on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9 am to 6 pm. You may pull up in the fire lane at the front door and volunteers will unload for you.
  • To arrange a home pickup of donations of five boxes or more, please contact the Friends of the Library volunteers at friends@dhcls.org or 334-796-1594.
